Becoming A Scuba Instructor With Seasport Divers In 2022
It’s hard to find a job that has as much variety and opportunity to travel as being a dive Instructor. One day you’ll be introducing a group of travelers to the otherworldly realm of the underwater world with the PADI Open Water diver course. A few days later it may be a family that you guide through one of the most unique multi-sensory experiences they can ever engage in. In doing so you will create a connection with them, they will never forget the instructor that introduced them to this awe-inspiring environment. Writing about the typical day of a dive instructor, is basically impossible, there really is no such thing as a typical workday as a PADI Instructor! Your office is ever changing, you colleagues and clients too. Rain or shine you are spending time with people who are enjoying the experience of lifetime, people who are forgetting their everyday worries, and you are their guide. Some days you will have a busy schedule many days you’ll find yourself enjoying two morning dives and then whiling away the afternoon in a hammock between two palm trees on the beach or relaxing in an island beach restaurant sharing stories with colleagues on their most recent encounters with bizarre sea creatures.
Becoming a Padi Open Water Scuba Instructor is something that means a lifetime of adventure and a chance to be rewarded with the wonder and amazement on the faces of people from around the world that you get to take in the water. Over the past few weeks we have had the opportunity to challenge this group of amazing candidates from near and far and watch them take strides to achieving there goals. We have candidates from all over the USA and even one from Chile. This group has been so amazing to work with and have given everything they had to get the job done.
In this program, we get the candidates prepared to teach in the pool, the classroom, and the ocean and run them through there paces in all levels of the PADI system. There is no better course in the scuba industry and as our team can attest the learning never stops. I can say that as well as having this great group of new instructors to call colleagues, we also have three new PADI IDC Staff Instructors to add to the list.
All in all, it has been an amazing week and a great way to kick off the training in 2022. Please contact me at: [email protected] to learn more about the next program coming up later this year!
